Shimada Shoji Co., Ltd. was founded in 1887 as a small button maker called the Shimadasada Store. The founder, Sadajiro Shimada, with his vigorous spirit of inquiry and passion for research, grasped the potential needs of the time ahead of anyone else and developed one new product after another. Now, the number of items we handle has surpassed 1,000,000. In addition, we are also developing our own materials and ceaselessly expanding the possibilities for new apparel products. We have set up a system that enables the safe, swift supply of products that have been developed, through strict inspections in our in-house laboratory.
